Mark Lansing practiced law in Grants Pass, Oregon between 1988 and 2025, after graduating from the University of Washington School of Law in 1987. He has a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Oregon (Honors College) and still writes for various publications. He is a past president of the Josephine County Bar Association and the United Way of Josephine County. Lansing practiced in the areas of business, real estate, insurance, personal injury and employment law. Though not an estate planning specialist, he handled many matters involving wills, trusts, guardianships and conservatorships over the years. With an emphasis on civil litigation, he was considered one of the top trial attorneys in Southern Oregon.
